Benefits of Yoga
With a regular yoga practice, you will not only improve your overall health but you will also reduce stress, increase strength, improve your flexibility and capacity for activities of daily living, and boost psychological well-being. By sequencing breath with movement, yoga can help clear your brain of unwanted thoughts, improve mood and decrease stress. When we practice yoga, we become more aware of our body and  mind which helps us to be more in tune with the world around us.

Chair
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair and/or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. It is beneficial for people with limited mobility. Chair yoga reduces the strain on joints and muscles, which allows someone who is unable to stand for traditional yoga an opportunity to practice too.

All Levels
An all levels yoga class is designed to increase essential mobility, balance, and foundational strength. The class features slow stretches and focus work on proper alignment in the classic poses, often with the use of props. Detailed instruction will help you achieve a deeper reflection in the pose and refine your relationship to your body with options to remain at one level or increase to the next. Modifications are offered so that beginning to intermediate students can feel appropriately supported and/or challenged and securely move into variations of each posture that meet students at their own individual level.
